Kenyans are happy. Everyone is ready for the Pope's much-anticipated visit to the country. Pope Francis will make his first trip to Africa visiting Kenya, Uganda and the Central African Republic.

Pope Francis will be the second Pope to visit Kenya after Pope John Paul II visited the country twice in 1985 and 1995 during President Moi's era. Pope Francis is set to visit St. Joseph The Worker Parish Kangemi.

Recently, Obama was in Kenya and Kenyans went crazy about his visit from the Nairobi County Boss himself to the city residents. He trended all over social media under different hashtags and with a few weeks remaining to welcome the Pope to our lovely country, this is what you should expect.

1. Major roads will be swept clean

This one is obvious. Just like Eldoret residents sweep all the major roads in the town when Prophet Owour is around, expect the same in Nairobi. Don't be shocked to see Nairobians sweeping clean all the roads from the airport to Kangemi.

2. Kidero grass will be monitored closely. Step on it at your own risk!

During Obama's visit, many were arrested and charged for stepping on the Kidero grass. This time round be careful not to repeat the same mistakes. You will spend the three days (of the Pope's visit) behind bars.

3. Tight security

All the major roads from the airport leading to Kangemi will be dotted with police officers just to ensure that the Pope is safe.

4. Chokoras will be nowhere to be seen

Pope Francis is such a humble man. He interacts with anyone even the needy but a few days before he jets into the country, all the street kids will be chased away from the city. There will be no street urchin in town. They will be locked up somewhere just like when Obama was around.

5. Waiyaki Way potholes will be filled since he will be visiting Kangemi

Kenyans are very good at pretending. All the roads leading to St. Joseph The Worker Parish Kangemi will be renovated; all pot holes filled so as to avoid embarrassments. Also don't be shocked to see Kidero plant trees and grass along the highway.
