If there is anything that Instagram has shown us, it is that there is a panoply of females around and that they are as diverse as they come. While swimming in the waters of Instagram, here are the females that you should avoid:

1. Filters Gang.

Filters have enabled people to be everything they have ever wanted to be. I have nothing against filters, in fact, there is nothing wrong with a little enhancement. The problem comes in when they are abused. Some of these girls used 16 different layers of filters over their 10 layers of makeup. You double tapped the picture of a girl who had a Rihanna-esque look but when you meet her, she looks like Mike Tyson. Unless you like feeling lied to and short changed, avoid this girl all together.

2. Team Thirst Trap

In case you don’t know, these are the girls that 70% of their picture is boobs, ass, thighs et al. This girl craves attention hence the thirst trap. Despite what she says in the caption below the picture, what she wants you to see are the boobs, the ass or the thighs. She is a girl who craves attention from the male species and it is up to you to decide if you really want this girl or not.

3. Inspirational Captions

I particularly find these girls funny. So the picture they have posted lies in the above group i.e it is a thirst trap but the accompanying caption has been lifted off an inspirational or motivational book. Yaani she has posted a picture of her books but the caption says something like “It is always darkest before dawn. Don’t give up”. The problem with this girl is that she is probably a 'ho' in denial. A ho that wants badly to be something more than a ho. Do you want that?

4. Team Documenting Everything

These are the girls that document every single moment of their waking moment. From going to bed to their dreams to waking up to breakfast to what they’ll wear to when they are in the matatu, you get the picture. Chances are that, should you date this girl every moment of your relationship will be documented and she might even change her Instagram name to yours. These are the symptoms of a crazy girl and unless you like the crazy well, buyers beware.

5. Team Selfies Only

She has over a 1000 pictures and they are all selfies, and she is posing in the same style. This girl is possibly narcissistic on a whole new level or she has nothing else to offer but her face. When you look at such girls profiles, do you ever wonder what lies beyond their faces? I always do? This girl will be too busy taking selfies on her phone to listen to you.
