Below are some of the facts I read about or think about the video which competed with “Shake it off” and toppled it off in the charts, can you imagine that?

  1. It's about heartbreak; as usual

Taylor is fond of writing songs about her exes. I personally don't know who this song was directed to but this is a fact. You can get that from "boys only want love if it's torture" lyric, which she explained to a UK newspaper as “boys only want love if it's torture and a constant chase. Men want love if it's real, right, healthy and consistent."

  2. The guy who directed the video has mad talent, trust me

He's the guy behind Katy Perry's wild and funny video “Waking Up In Las Vegas” which is one of her best – rock heads like Nick Ndeda would surely agree to this. He's Joseph Kahn.

  3. You know the castle. If you're a movie fan, you probably read about the Great Gatsby premiere in Nairobi or attended it. The castle in the video is the Oheka Castle, the largest residential house in the US to be built to date. Completed in 1919, it has 127 rooms.
  4. The guy in the video might have been the Fifty Shades Of Grey star

Having appeared in Madonna's video “Girl Gone Wild”, he went on to do a major project with Taylor – years on. His name is Sean O'pry and he got discovered on Myspace.

  5. If you wanted to do a wedding at the castle this December, it would cost you a whooping 9,029,050 shillings. That's far much compared to hosting a wedding in a location in Karen, which would cost you about 80,000 to 120,000.
