Celebrated spin master DJ Joe Mfalme has in an interview with Betty Kyallo revealed that he supports almost 100 kids in a children's home.

According to him he can never trade his job for anything else.

Deejaying to me is a job that feeds the 70-100 kids at Tumaini children's home. 5% of all my earnings goes to them.

It is this job that has gotten me this job, I have been able to pay for my sister's degree.

Joe adds that contrary to what most people believe he has not had his life handed to him on a silver platter.

I used to sweep and wipe decks at club dimples, Nlijituma.

I used to stay behind the booth while the DJ played and watch what he was doing. One night he did not come and I had to play for the night.

My breakthrough came when I joined Capital FM.

He adds,

My mum would be told 'ooh your son is spoilt' but now every one comes to her asking for advice on how their kids can be DJ's.

Joe has been in a serious relationship for the past three years.
