Kenya’s entertainment scene has gone from strength to strength and we as a nation have witnessed it grow from a fledgeling industry to a regional powerhouse.

Gone are the days we would see artists garner 10,000 views on YouTube. Gone are the days when being an artiste was a joke. Now we have artistes getting millions of views on their music videos. Hell, some like Khaligraph even get saluted by African OGs like Mi Abaga.

So all the publicity stunts, the fact that the quality of music has improved greatly all goes to help individual artists increase their profiles.
