The gorgeous actress was in our neighbor country shooting for her latest film. New Vision Uganda reports that she was spotted at the popular Sound Cup cafe, which is owned by musician Maurice Kirya.

The movie she's working on is called Queen of Katwe, a story inspired by Phiona Mutesi, a chess prodigy who fought all the odds of growing in poverty to international stardom in the game.

The film is being directed by Mira Nair, an Indian film maker based in New York. She is best known for her films Mississippi Masala and Moonsoon Wedding. Mutesi, the subject of the film, grew up in abject poverty, dropping out of school at the age of about nine years due to lack of fees. In her neighborhood, 50 percent of the girls were expectant according to a study conducted in 2011.

When she discovered chess at the Sports Outreach Institute, she never looked back. She went on to progressively win competitions; from National Junior Championships to being the youngest person ever to win the African Chess Championships.
