Despite all the negative stories about “MUM” (as her followers refer to), Reverend Kathy Kiuna of JCC has remained strong and dedicated to her work. “Mum” allegedly insulted Eastlands residents by calling them poor and lazy. She further advised ladies from Eastlands to rent servants’ quarters in posh estates so that they can find rich men to marry them and the current one being the one she banned poor people from attending her church which raised various reactions on social media.

During the JCC aniversary on Sunday, Reverend Kathy and Bishop Allan Kiuna also talked about their journey and said her church is for both the rich and the poor. In an interview with KTN, she dismissed the claims that she banned poor people from attending her church.
