Actress and style blogger Joy Kendi discovered her love for fashion when she was merely seven years old and since then, she's never gone back. She's consistently explored her style facets and likes and interests when it comes to looking gorgeous.

Kendi was born in the country but relocated with her family to USA since her mum wanted to earn a PhD. She had started studying at Lancing College when her family decided to move back to Kenya to stay.

Having transferred her credits to USIU in Nairobi, she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology – with a minor in Philosophy.

She successfully established herself as one of the most influential fashion bloggers in the country, in a realm well-dominated by stiff competition. Everyone tends to go the Tumblr or Instagram way but she's ultimately left an imprint of her uniqueness. It's not a mean fit.

She was a Kenyan Blog Awards (BAKE) award nominee in 2014. On her blog, she offers Do It Yourself style/make up tips and reviews trends and shopping joints. She's definitely got a big room for thriving and having more achievements this coming year.

Apart from fashion, she does scripts for various TV shows.
