Kenyans thought they were back to attracting A-List celebrities what with Wizkid and 2 Chains making a bee line for Kenya but Uganda 1 upped us. Word has it that While Kenya is attracting 2 Chainz for a concert, Uganda, the pearl of Africa has attracted Jay Z for an investment opportunity.

Jay Z owns a string of clubs and restaurants in America called 40/40 and he turned to Uganda as the place he would open his first enterprenurial foray into Africa.

The 40/40 is based in Upper Kololo under Routes 256 and opened its doors to Ugandans on Friday 26th of September. When the management of the original 256 were reached for comment, this is what they had to say:

“We have special rooms which any reveler can book for his private friends. We even have a corporate room and another open spacious place for people to have meetings while listening to cool music,”
