First Lady Margaret Kenyatta is known for her fashion style, which can be described as unique, classy, decent and consistent.

On her Facebook page, she posts photos from her day-to-day occasions around the country. Out of those, I have handpicked 10 times that her outfits did her justice; she simply looked amazing in them.

Here are the ten moments I am talking about;

1.

At the Plan International girl advocates meeting at Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel in Nairobi. This was yesterday. H.E. Margaret Kenyatta channeled a simplistic look, which someone can easily connect with the Queen of England's iconic style. She was restrained on the accessories she had; only putting on a simple pearl but elegant piece.

2. This was during the recent Uganda visit when she accompanied her hubby President Uhuru. It was an engaging event that saw the Uganda's Yoweri Museveni and Uhuru have bilateral talks on synergistic development between the two countries. The First Lady dressed in a green ensemble; a head scarf and a matching dera.

3. The First Lady and President Uhuru were attending a PURES Students meet up recently. They were meeting school students - it has been happening in a series of sessions - and from what it looks like, Maggie was dressed for the event. Her dress had a lovely pattern. The minimal accessories - a band and necklace - complimented the look. Her shoes matched her dress.

4. This is during her tour of the source of River Nile where she was accompanied by the Ugandan First Lady. She rocked a nice coat, matching blouse and pair of trousers and comfy flat shoes. The look was one of her best just yet.

5.

For the 9th Stop Cervical, Breast and Prostate Cancer in Africa Conference (SCCA) that was held between 19th and 21st July at KICC, she chose the coolest look ever. The embroidery on her dress was too lovely. The matching color necklace and her neatly done hair was her ultimate go for look.

6. H.E. Margaret Kenyatta is seen with Mrs. Jackie Kiaraho, the National Assembly Lady Spouses Association of Kenya NALSA (K) Chairperson during a past Prayer Breakfast Meeting. She wore a nice two piece ensemble and a color-matching pendant. Her nails were nicely done and it was a perfect outfit choice for the occasion. It was supposed to be a light and she did not disappoint.

7.

This is not the first time Margaret Kenyatta donned on traditional regalia. During the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit (Aug 4-6) in Washington D.C., she wore one. This time round, it was in Bomet County. She was commissioning the 31st mobile clinic in the country. The headband fits her very well. The gown patterns are consistent with the overall color of the dress. Surprisingly, the traditional accessories match her skin tone. She nailed it!

8.

Here, the First Lady was receiving President Kenyatta at the GCCA Conference at KICC. She opted for a watch that closely matched her cancer awareness ribbon. Could she have chosen a suit color that matched her husband's intentionally? All in all, she achieved a decent look, effortlessly. It was also perfect for the occasion.

9.

I love the gold embroidery on her blue outfit. It's a sign of novelty. It's sharp but still simplistic. It effuses a cool mood, from a psychological perspective. It was a lovely choice, which worked quite well when she was meeting U.S. President Obama.

In this photo, she was posing for a promotional portrait for the SCCA Conference. She lived up to the thematic representation of a country full or robust cultural diversity. The Maasai community is one of the most popular in the world.  They live in localities where most national reserves and parks are situated. They play a role in conservation. Her outfit came across as extremely classy and timeless. It seems to be her rule to keep too many accessories at bay. The butterfly embroidery on the outfit is a wonderful artistic achievement; haute couture I should say.
