It is called self talk. And yes, it is healthy to talk to yourself! So.. what should you say when you talk to yourself?

Self talk is quite common, although we tend to feel embarrassed when someone else notices we are doing it. Fear not, and please don't think you are mad. It's what you say to yourself that matters.

Do you want to be successful? Do you want happiness? Do you want great health? Cultivate that life - say it to yourself. Repeat it over and over. Why? Coz it works magic!

Here are ten things you should say when you talk to yourself

1. I am a tough person who has made it through tough times.

When the going gets tough, the tough get going. It's when life is at its toughest that you make meaningful discoveries. Facing your problems makes you strong.

Everything that is successful will begin with you believing in yourself. Be able to say you believed in yourself and kept trying.

3. I am making a difference.

The little things matter. We cannot always do great things, but, as Mother Teresa said, we can always do small things with great love. At the end it is not only about making a living, it is about making a difference.

4. I treat others the way I want to be treated.

Being a good person really is as simple as following the golden rule - treat others as you would like them to treat you.

5. I look for positivity in everything.

Be an optimist. Look for how things can go right. Your mind has power. Fill it with positives and your life becomes positive naturally. Positive things happen when you think positive thoughts, .

6. I speak up.

Speaking your mind makes you stand with confidence and gain courage. When you don't speak up, you're not being true to yourself.

7. I followed my heart.

Everyone is passionate about something. If you don't follow your heart, you might spend the rest of your life wishing you had.

8. I am a responsible person.

An important keys to success is being disciplined to do what you know you should do even when you don't feel like it. That's a daily decision and it involves taking responsibility for your own actions and choices.

Remember, always be careful with what you say and do - your actions do affect other people. Do not be the person who blames others or makes excuses.

9. I have forgiven those who have hurt me.

When you forgive, life becomes easier, lighter and fun. Business becomes more manageable when you learn to forgive. Forgiveness takes great strength and it really is worth the effort.

10. I have no regrets.

Have the confidence to say that you took a chance, you said the truth, you spent time with your loved ones and you lived your passion. The worst form of regret is regret for the chances we didn't take.

Seems you are loving these words, eh? OK then! Let me spoil you with one extra tip!

11. I live by high standards.

The quality of who you are is reflected in the standards you set for yourself.

Position yourself to live up to the rise of your own expectations. Never apologize for high standards; people who really want to be in your life will rise up to meet them.
