A lot has happened in 2015, many Kenyan celebrities have gotten married, socialites have bought Range Rovers, Mpasho has been nominated for awards and most importantly, the world is embracing our music!

There are thousands of good hardworking artistes in Kenya and we acknowledge all of them, but there are those who have pushed the envelope to put Kenyan music on the map.

Today we focus on those tracks that got Kenyans talking, brought a new style into the game, had outstanding production quality and those that had international appeal.

We came up with the 10 Most Game-Changing Kenyan Tracks Of 2015 after a discussion with some of the biggest local producers, DJs, Presenters and Artistes.

And they are;

10. Yego - Khaligraph - The Kayole rapper recorded this track after Kenyan athlete Julius Yego won a gold medal at the 2015 World Athletics Championships. By now I can boldly say that almost everyone can sing along to this song that praises our champion.

9. Unajua - Gilad - From his diplomatic office to a studio, and he still got it right. Former deputy head of mission at the Israeli Embassy Gilad Milo, collaborated with Neo-soul singer Wendy Kimani on one of the best love songs ever produced in Kenya. Listen to the track below and let us know what you think.

8. Dabo Tap - The Kansoul  - This club banger track became an instant hit and the phrase 'dabo tap' and 'ilianza na ka selfie' also turned in slangs used by almost everyone countrywide.

7. Kuchu Kuchu - Bahati ft Wyre & King Kaka - Award-winning gospel artiste Bahati shocked many of his fans when he released his collabo with top Kenyan secular artistes.

6. Mafeelings - Dela - Afro-pop music is not as popular as other genres like Kapuka and hip hop in Kenya. However, Dela managed to prove everyone wrong when he dropped this track. A combination of a good voice, perfect song and a well-executed video. And for those who can remember, this song actually trended on twitter for like three days.

5. Hello Remix - Abbas Kubaff - The K-South rapper gave Adelle's Hello an African and hip hop taste. This is undoubtedly one of the best remixes done by a Kenyan artiste.

4. I'm A Doer - Cece Sagini ft Octopizzo - Well, not really the kind of music to play in a club full of high school kids, but if you want to chill and listen to good music, Cece and namba nane's finest got you sorted. This is a feel good song with a classical touch. Perfect!

3. Story Yangu - Denno Ft Bahati - This emotional song did not only tell a story of how the two artistes have struggled with life, it also started a great conversation online. (Read the story below)

2. Mwema - Mercy Masika - Well, the song was released in December 2014, but it became a big national hit this year. This gospel song is played even in clubs, and it cuts across all ages. It's safe to say this is the gospel song of 2015.

1. Nerea - Sauti Sol Ft. Amos & Josh -  Off Sauti Sol's new album; Live and Die In Africa, this is definitely the biggest Kenyan song in 2015. You can take that to the bank anyday. So far, the song has gannered close to 1.5 Million view in less than nine months.
