KPLC: Areas that will experience power interruptions today

The Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) has warned of power outages in several areas across the country on Tuesday, April 30.

In a statement on Monday evening, the company said some areas in 8 counties in Kenya will experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Counties that will be affected include Nairobi, Kiambu, Makueni, Busia, Kisii, Homa Bay, Nyeri, and Laikipia.

In Nairobi County, parts of Zimmerman, Mathare, Ruaraka, Siaya Road, Donholm, and Savannah will be affected by power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Several parts of Limuru town and the Carbacid factory in Kiambu County will also experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Wote town in Makueni County will also be affected by power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

In Busia County, some areas in Malaba, Amagoro, and Kocholia will experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Several parts of Kisii town in Kisii County will experience power outages between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM.

Some areas in Ringa, Ramula, and Mawego in Homa Bay County will experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

In Nyeri County, several parts of Ngaru and Kariko areas will experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

Areas in Timau, Kiambogo, and Ethi in Laikipia County will also experience power outages between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
