The death anniversary of the late Tecra Muigai is something her family recalls with pain.
Anerlisa has marked the anniversary with a sweet note about cherishing her memory.
Tecra died on May 2 2020 at a Nairobi hospital while undergoing treatment.
"It's been four years without you. Every 2nd Nay will always be sad to us as a family. Continue resting in Peace my dear sister" the heiress mourned.
Tecra's death was announced by Keroche Industries where she worked.
“While we mourn the loss of a remarkable young lady, we also celebrate her life and hope that it serves as an example to young people around the world to work hard to make their dreams come true,” the company paid tribute to Tecra, who worked as the Strategy and Innovation Director.
Tecra Muigai passed away from injuries sustained in what was said to be a fall from a staircase in the house she was sharing with her then-boyfriend Omar Lali.
The family to date insists Tecra was brutally murdered. They spoke in a documentary called The Last Door.
Government Pathologist Johansen Oduor told an inquest in July 2021 that Tecra died from being hit by a blunt object as well as a possible fall.
He said there was a skull fracture at the left temporal bone extended leading to the base of the skull. Thus indicating the injuries were unlikely to have been caused by a single impact.
