Nairobi County Government has banned Boda Boda operators from the CBD with immediate effect.

Beryl Okundi, the country communications officer said that the decision was arrived at due to the lack of designated parking locations. Moving forwards, any Boda Boda operator found defying this rule will be slapped with heavy fines or jailed.

The ban is strongly backed by Traffic Act 2014, according to the officer. Read more on .
