Kenya Power has scheduled power interruption in three counties on Thursday.

The company said the interruption will be effected between 8.30 am and 5 pm in select areas in the counties.

Counties to be affected include Kiambu, Murang'a and Tharaka Nithi.

Parts of Kiambu to experience power interruption include the whole of Witeithie, Ndarugu Academy, Kenya Athena, Ndarugu Motel, Kwa Kigwe, Highpoint Kuraiha Primary, Ndarugu Plantation, Mangu High, Gachororo Dispensary and adjacent customers.

At the same time, other parts of Kimabu to have power interruption are Kiambu Prison, Ndumberi, Kangoya, Kihingo, Part of Riabai, Kiambu Hospital, Kiambu Mall, Karambaini, Kiambu Police, KIST, Kiambu Law Courts, Rednova and Ruuii.

Githambo T/Fact, Githambo Market, Kiruri Secondary School, Tuthu TBC, Mwisho wa Raha, Kiawambogo Market, Kanyanyaini Market, Kanyanyaini T/Fact, Mathioya Water Supply, Rwathia Secondary School, Gitugu Market and Kenyanjeru in Murang'a County will experience power interruption.

Other areas in Murang'a County to experience power interruption include Kiamwathi Market, Muberethi, Karia, Giakanja Secondary, Kiunyu, Ikumbo, Karibaini, Karichen and adjacent customers.

Areas to be affected in Tharaka Nithi County include Kariakomo, Igwanjau, Ikumbo Ntumu, Ndunguri, Ngeru Mukui, Ngaita, Kiriani, Munga and Kabui.
