Police are investigating an incident in which a man slid and died in his bathroom in Ruiru, Kiambu County.
Charles Wachira Muchu was taking a morning shower in his bathroom in Kihunguro area when he slipped.
His wife Elizabeth Mukami told police she found the man unresponsive in the bathroom and rushed him to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police visited the scene of the incident as part of the probe.
Ruiru head of DCI Justus Ombati said they will conduct an autopsy on the body to establish the cause of the death.
“We will know more after the postmortem is conducted on the body,” he said.
Such accidents are common in homes due to slippery floors. Some victims are nursing injuries occasioned in such accidents.
In the same area, police said they are investigating a drowning incident involving a ten-year-old boy.
John Karanja was swimming at Ruiru river with his friends when he drowned, the friends said.
His body was retrieved hours after the incident.
