Tanzanian crooner Diamond Platnumz' wife Zari Hassan is one of the most hardworking women in the East African showbiz industry.

Zari who now runs a series of education institutions called the Brooklyn Colleges in South Africa is living large. This is after she was recognized as Ivan Semwanga, her late ex-husband's 'official' widow during his burial and she was also named as the highest beneficiary of Ivan’s wealth.

Zari has been working round the clock to ensure that her late husband's businesses are well taken care of plus her five children.

Well, the ambitious woman has just acquired a new set of wheels Mercedes Benz E 250 CDI. The car is a heavy German machine and costs between $96,900 - $1089,350 approximately Sh10 million before tax.

Description of Zari's new car

The new E-Class features a revised front and rear end styling, with organic shaped headlights featuring LED lighting technology. The tail lamps too have been revised, while the lower part of the rear bumper appears to be a new design.

The three-pointed star now sits on the twin-louvred front grille, unlike the earlier version which had a multi-louvred front grille with the Mercedes logo ‘gunsight’ mounted on the bonnet. The new E-Class comes loaded with every luxury and safety feature that buyers in this class are looking for. A 7-inch touchscreen for the COMAND system, a high-end stereo, new open-pore ashwood trim, Artico leather upholstery, multi-function steering wheel, powered memory seats and a panoramic sunroof are all standard equipment. On the safety front, the new E-Class boasts of ABS with EBD and Brake Assist, Anti-skid Regulation (ASR), intelligent lighting, eco stop-start, 8 airbags, parking assist, reverse camera and tyre pressure monitoring systems, making it one of the safest cars in its class.

This comes barely a week after King Lawrence, the late Ivan's cousin bought a Mercedes Benz AMG GT worth $157,995.
