A GoFundMe page has been created. By the family of fallen football star Kevin Oliech.

The famed footballer lost his battle to cancer on Sunday 16, August 2020, while receiving treatment in Germany.

Now, the family wants to bury him here in Kenya close to his family and friends but the economics of that, is proving to be a financial strain on his family.

The GoFundMe page was created two days ago and the family is pleading for help.

It reads,

"HELP ME REPATRIATE MY BROTHER HOME FOR BURIAL."

A WhatsApp message making rounds on social media reads,

"Hi, I'd really appreciate it if you could share or donate to this GoFundMe campaign. Burial contribution. Forward this message to your contacts to help this campaign reach its target!"

The target amount is USD 10,000 (approximately KSH 1m) is needed to fly back Kevin's body.
