TV actor Kenneth Gichoka known for his role as Njoro in popular TV drama Papa Shirandula has opened up about the sudden death of his first wife.

In a recent interview on Milele FM, Njoro said he regrets that he did not reach out to his first wife after they went their separate ways.

“When I was with my first wife, we were so in love but when I left her, she disappeared, life was so hard for her and later she passed away. I felt like I contributed to that,” Njoro said.

In addition to carrying that guilt around, Njoro said he also has another regret.

"I had an opportunity to make a big investment but drinking and living beyond my means took 50 per cent of the investment. What I can advise people is to make hay when the sun is shining.”

Njoro took his own advise and invested his money well.
