Celebrated media personality Rashid Abdalla is out here showering his wife Lulu Hassan with praises.
In an interview with Mpasho's journalist Dennis Milimo at the Zari series private launch, Rashid expresses his love for his wife Lulu.
Talking about Kasiri, a series that was also discussed that day, the fantastic journalist asked him which secret he had people don't know about.
"Ni kasiri kagani ambako watu hawakajui," he asked.
"Mimi kitu ambacho watu hawakijui ni kua, naipenda kazi yangu lakini niliye naye kando yangu anipa nguvu ya kuipenda kazi yangu," the producer said.
In description, his wife makes him love the job that he does; producer and journalist. Her being beside him gives him the strength to do what he loves.
He continues to say that she is a woman who knows how to love for she gives it all when she does from the way she loves her job and the youths.
"Ana mapenzi ya dhati kwa kazi tunayoifanya, ana mapenzi ya dhati kwa kazi ya kusaidia vijana," he continues.
The journalist disclosed that she has contributed a part in building him in part of his career and also him personally as a person.
When we see him succeeding we should know that there is a person behind it.
Dennis asked about how he feels working with his wife in the same media house and also on the same projects and what is the one challenge that he faces.
"Unajua kua nyinyi ni wapenzi na mumekua mkifanya kazi pamoja, ni changamoto gani inakuja na hili na pia na uzuri wa kufanya kzi kawa pamoja kwa sababu mnakutana nyumbani na pia kazini."
"Kusema ukweli mimi sikuoa mrembo, nilioa rafiki yangu kwa hiyo sina wasiwasi kua na rafiki yangu nje ya nyumba na ndani ya studio. Ukifanya kazi na rafiki yako hakuna mikando mikando mnatoboa tu."
The husband says that he did not just marry a pretty lady but also a friend which makes him have no worries working with her because working with a friend doesn't cause much nuisance.
He says that he is happy that he got a chance to work with a friend who corrects you when wrong and praises you when you are right. He explains that a person who doesn't criticize you when you a wrong is not a friend.
"Nafurahi kwamba nikona rafiki, unajua rafiki ni mtu ambaye anakuambia ukweli na hakufichi. Mtu ambaye ana kuficha si rafiki huyo ni mnafiki nikipata mtu ambaye ananisifia sana najua uyo si rafiki. Ni mtu ambaye anakukosoa ukifanya kosa."
The interviewer concludes with the last question;
"Ujumbe mmoja kwa Lulu."
Rashid: "Asante, kumwambia azidi kutoa support, azidi kufanya anachokipenda, na pia mwenyezi Mungu azidi kumpa baraka zaidi, baraka zake ni raha yangu,".
