Gospel singer Evelyn Wanjiru just celebrated her birthday with many of her followers, family, and friends joining in.

The Zaidi ya Yote hitmaker recently posted a message on her social media pages in which she expressed her appreciation to God for the path that she has traveled.

Her message began,

"Walking into another added year by God in my life for sure is the greatest blessing 🙏🏾🎉🎂😘❤️ 💽one can ask from Him," she captioned a post on her Instagram account.

Before adding,

"Based on the fact that I was born in the fifth month of the year, I am able to state with complete certainty that it is the love and compassion of God that has made it possible for me to reach this point in my life.

Dear Lord, I want to know what it is that I will give you. Please please tell me. I am thankful for your protection, good health, open doors, ministry, friends, family, and life. I am thankful for all of these things. 🙏🏾#I hope you have a wonderful birthday.

The verse from Psalm 91:16 is at the top of my list. Not only will I ensure that she has a long life, but I will also show her that I am the one who comes to her rescue."
