Controversial pastor, Victor Kanyari, has vowed to end his nearly 10-year bachelorhood, saying he has high hopes of finding a wife on the TikTok platform.

In a video from his live sermons on the short video-sharing platform, Kanyari said he was previously married to gospel artist Betty Bayo, but after their separation, he is back on the market and looking for a wife, specifically on TikTok.

Speaking about marriage, Kanyari said he wouldn't mind marrying someone he meets on the platform without much prior acquaintance.

He stated that taking time to get to know someone after finding someone who loves you on social media is outdated. Nowadays, if you meet someone and feel like you love each other, just go for it!

"I haven't seen her yet, I was with Betty Bayo, and we had two children... But now I want to get married again. And I will marry from TikTok. Believe me, I will marry from TikTok.

I'll find a beautiful woman on TikTok. And don't tell me we have to get to know each other, there's no need for that.

If you love each other, you're in love, and you go where you want to go. If you can manage it, fine; if you can't, that's okay too," the servant of God said.

Kanyari said he wouldn't stick to a marriage that he doesn't see lasting, citing his separation from his co-parent, Bayo, after failing to get along.

"If I fail, I'll come here to TikTok and say we couldn't get along, so we parted ways. But it's not like I'll stay in a marriage until I die just to please people because I'm a preacher. No. I'm the one who will die, not God, so I'll tell God, you gave me this person, and we separated, that's it."

The Kigoco musician separated from Kanyari in 2015 when KTN's Jicho Pevu exposed him. The revelation revealed that the controversial "man of God" was running a fraudulent ministry where he defrauded many of his church members.

According to Bayo, they still communicate for the sake of their children, a fact emphasized by Kanyari in the TikTok video, saying Bayo called him about their child's school fees, which he claimed was three and a half lakhs in a private school.
