He has now opened up about it to Jeff Kuria, explaining it arose from being fired from a job.
He worked at a supermarket and the reason for firing?
"There was a day I had a shughuli let me say ni kibarua, and it was paying about sh5k when you compare it to the supermarket, I decided to go there. "
This led to a disciplinary notice. so he was fired.

I was with my besties at Two Rivers, I had been fired from my job.
I wanted to do a TikTok walking slowly talking, it was purely content."
He added
"I did not post that video
It stayed about a year before he decided to post it in town. His phone went off. He returned hours later to a good surprise"
After the video went viral he decided to make the walk, his signature walk.
