Veteran Bongo film actress Fridah Kajala Masanja seems to be overflowing with joy after her daughter Paula Kajala announced that she was expecting her first child.
Paula and her partner Omary Mwanga, popularly known as Marioo, on Thursday morning revealed that they will soon be parents to their first child together.
The couple made their beautiful announcement on Instagram, showcasing Paula's prominent pregnancy. Receiving the good news, Kajala expressed her readiness to be a good grandmother.
"Grandma, I'm all excited here," Kajala replied under her daughter's post.
Paula's aunt, Kate Masanja, also expressed her joy at becoming a grandmother soon. Responding to Marioo's post, Kajala acknowledged the Bongo music star as her son-in-law.
"Son-in-law," she said, accompanying her comment with heart emojis to show affection.
On Thursday morning, Marioo and Paula made a special joint announcement, revealing that they were expecting their first child together.
The couple shared a heartwarming video showing them reading a newspaper headline that reads 'A baby is on the way,' and also showcasing Paula's protruding belly.
"I am expecting a child with my partner. From two to three," Paula wrote beneath the video she posted on Instagram.
In the video, the 22-year-old model appeared with a prominent pregnancy bump as she and her partner displayed images of the fetus growing in her womb.
Marioo also shared his joy at becoming a father soon and thanked the daughter of actress Kajala Masaja for carrying his child.
"Adding a new member to our squad! Soon, God willing. I am proud of you, queen @therealpaulahkajala. May God bless you and your family," Marioo said.
For over a year now, Paula and the artist Marioo have been in what is described as a serious relationship, with Kajala gradually accepting their love and openly referring to Marioo as her son-in-law.
