Los Angeles-based Kenyan digital content creator and model Elsa Majimbo has revealed that her fallout with internationally acclaimed supermodel Naomi Campbell led her to alcoholism.

Elsa noted falling out with Naomi who was her mentor and friend pushed her over the edge which saw her turn to booze to cope with things falling apart in her life and losing an instrument figure in her life who was also key in helping her network in Hollywood.

Clarifying her statements the 22-year-old comedienne took full responsibility for her actions in a bid to clear up Naomi's name as her earlier (now deleted) videos seemingly appeared to be attacking the supermodel.

“Naomi obviously never force-fed me alcohol. The situation led to the action. My action. As I said, my part was played and responsibility is mine,” Elsa said in a post clarifying her before the video.

In a previous video Elsa had opened up about how Naomi got cross with her after she 'double crossed' her.

According to Elsa their fallout was due to a misunderstanding over a proposed documentary project, which she pursued independently, despite Miss Campbell being the one who had proposed the idea to her. 

Elsa had previously stated that she turned to alcohol after her numerous attempts to reconcile with Naomi fell short.

“Things started going very badly for me. I thought it was because of the situation [with Naomi], but I wanted to be sure,”

Majimbo said that during that period when the two were not in association, she turned to alcohol but eventually managed to get her life back in order.

As of now according to Elsa they are, "not friends... not enemies. We're not anything,"
