Outspoken Embakasi East MP is a married man whose principles on sustaining a union should be listened to keenly.
Owino recently attended a wedding ceremony and as a guest, he was invited to advise the couple.
Taking to the podium, Owino congratulated the couple and offered them several principles they must live by as a husband and wife.
He first urged them to be prayerful. The youthful MP is a regular church attendee with his wife.
"As you are married I want to remind you of the 6 P's to guide you in your marriage. The first P is prayers. Make sure as husband and wife you pray every day" he urged.
His 2nd P was Presence. Make sure you are present for each other. Communicate, date, have fun and joke
His 3rd P was praise. He told the groom that he must appreciate his wife The 4th P was Provision. this point made the guest laugh because he argued with the groom.
"As a man you must provide for your family. You must provide financially, physically, emotionally"
The crowd chanted Yes in agreement.The 5th P was Protection.
"Marriage in law is defined as a union between two persons to the exclusion of all others. The only person you invite to the marriage is the Lord, and you seek wisdom from your parents."
The 6th P was Purpose. He was not done adding another point
