Jay Melody: I lived with a mganga for a month to become a star

Artist Sharif Said Juma aka Jay Melody revealed in an interview how he lived with a mganga for a month to enhance his star.

Melody is well known for her songs like 'Sugar', 'Nakupenda' among others, has said that he was advised by friends to visit a healer so that he can have many followers and become popular in the music industry.

In addition, the artist said that the events took place in 2021, when he was struggling to get known in the industry. According to Melody, living with the mganga did not turn out as he expected.

"I thought about it and of course, I've been there. It's not a lie. I was told that something was not right. That my stars are being played with.

Things became very difficult. The time came when you saw that I really couldn't get through this. There were many things there. I stayed there for a month. It was many things. It was like a program, a drug, taking a shower, go here, go there," said Melody.

However, the artist discovered one way to succeed in life was not to rely on a mganga but to work hard.

"The period when I came to realize if I should work, I was now too late. Later I came to realize that it was not true. You just have to work. Honestly, the only thing I can say to anyone is that work your speaks. Imagine after that I did not get any results. Nothing happened."
