Betty Kyallo and Dennis Okari's wedding was the talk of town for months after the I-Do's had been exchanged.

So, we sat down and thought, what is the difference between Betty's and Ali Kiba's wedding, financially?

The two weddings have both been sponsored in one way or the other but there is a great comparison between the two financially.

This is despite the two much talked about ceremonies being hosted by two very different, prestigious and renowned people in the media and entertainment industry.

Let us have a look at the few differences between both weddings financially.

Wedding attire:

According to our research, a white wedding dress made in Kenya will cost around Ksh.100,000 and an Islam bridal gown would cost Ksh.80,000.

Betty and Dennis take the crown here.

Then the male attire which is a suit for the white wedding man and a Joho for the Muslim groom. For the suit, it would cost you around Ksh 10,000 while the Joho costs Ksh.6,000.

However, Ali Kiba was rocking a traditional garb fit for a sultan. Did you see the swords and iss?

Here, Ali Kiba and Amina take this one.

Luxury Cars

Betty and Dennis' wedding being a white one, they needed cars that will make their entourage look classy and they got just the right cars which were both Jaguar's: XJ and XF from RMA motors.

We don't want to take a stab in the dark and guess how much it would cost to hire the two expensive toys.

Meanwhile, Ali Kiba and wife used their own personal cars.

Choice of swanky venue:

Ali Kiba and Amina did their official wedding in the Ummu Kulthum mosque in Mombasa which is usually free but the couple may give a token of appreciation to the Ustadh and there is no price tagged to it.

But for Betty Kyalo and Dennis Okari, they paid for the venue. Their ceremony was at the Marula Manor in Karen, a garden wedding officiated over by a pastor.

Ali Kiba and Amina's reception was hosted at governor Ali Hassan Joho's palace so they will not pay but they will enjoy an exquisite venue with a lot of food and an amazing view.

For this one, they both win because they all have an upper hand in their different ways.

Rings

Prices of rings in Kenya would costs as low as 50,000 - this is considering the status the two hold in society. The rest of the watus can buy rings hata for 100 bob. Now Ali Kiba and Amina do not require rings so for this item, only Betty and Dennis will incur a cost.

Food

This being the second most important thing after the bride in a wedding, the two couples did a pretty good job to make sure their guests were well fed where Ali Kiba had an amazing variety of Swahili dishes.

While, Dennis Okari had plenty of the normal cuisine in Kenyan wedding which never misses, njahe and mokimo.

They both take this one.

Both weddings were very prestigious and they received a lot of airplay to a point Ali Kiba was paid by media houses for live coverage.

I know, right? You wish you were him now don't you?

Despite the fact that Dennis Okari and Betty Kyalo did not have a successful marriage, we wish Ali Kiba and Amina all the very best!
