Radio Citizen Presenter Steve Maunda alias Shatta Bway has shared his last conversation with his now-late wife Rebecca.

The mother of two died on June 25th after falling ill and got admitted to hospital for some time.

Speaking during his wife's burial, Shatta shared that his wife requested he takes good care of their two kids.

I will love the kids and protect them, I remember your last words to me were

'Baba Jaheim enda home uchunge watoto mimi nimepumzika.'

I will protect them the best way I know how. I will be the best dad."

Rebecca was buried at her home in Mukaa, Makueni County.

During the burial, Shatta also cut one of his dreadlocks saying he had promised his wife he would only cut the dreads for a good course.

"I now have 31 dreadlocks. I told my wife when I get a worthwhile course I would be cutting one hair so that I do not forget that event. My hair is my crown and it represents the authority I have over me."

He then went ahead to cut off one of his dread stating

"As you leave you go with a part of that crown and I LOVE YOU."
